Twenty students and Wesleyan’s newest assistant professor, Gillian Brunet, were inducted in to the Wesleyan chapter of the Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE) Economics honor society on November 28 in PAC 001. The student inductees are: Nicole Rachel Brodkowitz, Aaron Cheung, Rusheng Duan, Allegra T. Fils-Aime, Madelyn Rose Fried, Michael James Gallo, Eric Anthony Gooden, Eunes Miah Harun, Qingyang (Heropeia) Hu, Min Jang, Rachel C Kantor, Avi Lipton, Gillian Sara Lubin, Ryan Alexander McGuffee, Kevin J. O’Brien, Richard A. Price-Sanchez, Asim Rahim, Owen Campbell Ward, Zoe Zhao, Emma Zou. Professor Brunet presented a short talk on estimating the fiscal policy multiplier in the US during World War II.
There ceremony was presided over by ODE co-presidents Nicole Galli and Chad Malinowski and attended by friends and family of the honorees and a large contingent of ECON faculty.
